Professor Ward is part of a UCL project to reduce plastic waste and will present a lecture on recycling with synthetic biology

He and his team are identifying and improving the performance of both novel plastic degrading bacteria and their enzymes using protein engineering, allowing plastics to be recycled more easily. After Prof Ward’s 30 minute lecture there will time for questions and discussion.
