How to Apply

The CDT programme delivers industrially relevant process engineering research in a multidisciplinary environment. Each research student carries out an original research project at UCL or one of the collaborating universities and undertakes a structured programme of training with other CDT researchers for a career in bioprocess engineering research either in industry or academia.

Research projects are developed by the CDT in collaboration with a number of other universities and cover a wide range of new challenges related to the development and manufacture of new biopharmaceutical therapies. PhD projects are suitable for candidates with a good first degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, computer science, chemistry, biochemical engineering, and chemical engineering.
