This talk on learning more than one language in childhood is part of an event in Islington to celebrate International Mother Language Day.
In 1999, UNESCO proclaimed February 21st to be International Mother Language Day. Islington Mother Tongue & Supplementary Schools Partnership (MTSSP), together with Islington Schools, on Wednesday 21st February to celebrate their children’s linguistic heritage at the Islington Assembly Hall in Upper Street.
