Applying Behavioural Science in Digital Health to tackle AMR

28 October 2025

Professor Fabiana Lorencatto and Dr Massar Dabbous showcased the work they are doing on anti-microbial resistance at the EPSRC Digital Health Hub for Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) annual event in London.

Digital Health Hub for Antimicrobial resistance

Fabiana and Massar presented planned work on two interdisciplinary behavioural change projects which aim to identify behavioural factors and acceptability of different digital health tools to inform antibiotic prescribing and infection prevention control, providing evidence on how these digital tools can be optimised and implemented into real world practice to help tackle AMR.

Massar also presented a poster on Applying Behavioural Science in Digital Health to tackle AMR and their work on how behavioural science is being applied across the various projects across the Hub.
