"Completing this course has been an incredibly valuable experience. The course provided me with practical tools and frameworks, such as the Behaviour Change Wheel (BCW), COM-B model, and Behaviour Change Techniques (BCTs), which I can directly apply to my work with PERI BUMI and other AKAR Family units.
One of the most significant advantages of this course was its self-paced structure, allowing me to complete it amidst a busy schedule. The weekly reminder emails kept me on track, ensuring I stayed engaged and completed each module on time. Additionally, the peer review process was particularly insightful—not only did I receive constructive feedback on my work, but I also learned from the perspectives and strategies of others. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to design evidence-based interventions that create sustainable behavior change in their communities."

"I’ve just started the UCL Centre for Behaviour Change course via FutureLearn, and it’s already proving hugely valuable. COM-B is a familiar model - but revisiting it through this lens is helping me challenge assumptions, think more systematically, and spot blind spots in how we approach behavioural diagnosis.

One of the best parts? The peer exchange. Reading how others define behaviour, reflect on its complexity, and approach intervention design has been unexpectedly energising. It’s a powerful reminder that behaviour change isn’t just a toolkit, it’s a conversation. And one that’s better when more voices are in the mix. Looking forward to bringing this thinking into all our work this year."

I'm always looking to follow best practice and value the importance of standardisation, and I think everyone involved in behaviour change work should attend this training!" - Beth, PhD Researcher, Queen's University Belfast. Participant of our BCIO module (November 2025)
"Behaviour Change is complex and so are ontologies!
