WELCOME!
Hi - welcome to UCL and to the CBC team!
We've put together the following information to help you to settle in and navigate your time with us here at UCL.
The
first part is a little introduction to the organisational structure of the CBC
team, a guide to who's who and how we fit within the various other groups,
departments, schools etc. The second part gives you more information about UCL
and the local area, including a few places you might like to visit whilst
you're here.
Any of the team will be happy to help you with queries or questions you have.

The CBC is a cross-disciplinary Centre www.ucl.ac.uk/behaviour-change. It is situated within the Faculty of Brain Sciences, Division of Psychology and Language Sciences. The department of Clinical, Educational and Health Psychology (CEHP) is our 'home base' because most of the core team staff are psychologists by background and the Director (Prof. Susan Michie) is a permanent member of staff within this department. The CBC offices are situated in 1-19 Torrington Place, WC1E 7HB and 8 Hunter Street (Office 209 and 208, Hunter Street Health Centre), WC1N 1BN. The main office in Torrington Place is room 451 (4th floor). Susan's office is also situated on the 3rd floor (room 347).
There are a couple of research groups that the CBC works closely with:
- The Health Psychology Research Group (HPRG)
- The Centre for Outcome Research Effectiveness (CORE)
- The Tobacco and Alcohol Research Group (TARG) led by Professor Robert West
