CBC Events

The Centre for Behaviour Change hosts a variety of events on issues that create opportunities for discussion and collaboration between researchers, policy makers, practitioners and the public.  Previous events have included seminars, workshops and large public events, most notably the annual digital health conference hosted by the CBC.

  • EnviroHub Autumn Public Meeting

Hosted by the CBC EnviroHub, this seminar will bring together key people at UCL and within sustainable industries to discuss environmental disasters and how we can take a behavioural angle to address these. More information on this event to be released soon.

  • Professor Robert West book launch

  • CBC Behaviour Change Clinics launch

The CBC works to increase cross-disciplinary research in behaviour change across UCL and increase its translation beyond academia.

The Centre is excited to announce the launch of a new initiative, CBC Behaviour Change Clinics, this Autumn available to UCL staff. This new consultancy service will:

  • Be free for UCL staff from any discipline and Faculty
  • Address any issue, whilst we have particular expertise in health and environmental change
  • Be led by senior members of the Centre for Behaviour Change

CBC Conference 2019

Tuesday 09 / Wednesday 10 April 2019 - Institute of Education (Ioe), London.

In association with the UCL Institute of Healthcare Engineering (IHE).

The CBC would like to thank all delegates who attended and presented at the conference this year. The event was a huge success and one of the most exciting programmes of scientific content we have had - so thank you!

The theme of the 2019 conference was the use of digital and non-digital approaches, alone or in combination, to bring about behaviour change for health and wellbeing. Conference themes included:

  • Engagement with digital health interventions
  • Digital Health interventions to promote physical activity, health eating and dietary change
  • Advances in measurement and evaluation of digital health interventions
  • Conceptual and ethical issues in digital health
  • Big data approaches in the design, delivery and evaluation of digital health interventions.

Open Science Framework (OSF)

We will be uploading all presenter abstracts to Open Science Framework as a platform of information to oversee research projects and outputs across multiple disciples that were shared at this year's conference.

If you DO NOT want your submitted abstract uploaded to OSF please email behaviourchange@ucl.ac.uk.
