Rising Leader in Sustainable Business Scholarship
The Rising Leader in Sustainable Business Scholarship is available for students who have completed an application to study the Business and Sustainability MSc at University College London and have received an offer (conditional or unconditional) to study on the MSc (at the time when they apply for the scholarship), which they have accepted or intend to accept.

Value: £6000 contribution towards fees
Start date: September 2023
Eligibility: You must be an offer holder for UCL’s Business and Sustainability MSc for the 2023/24 academic year. This scholarship is open to both Home and International fee status offer holders to apply.

- How many individual awards to be offered each year?
In the 2023/24 academic year there will be one award.
- What is the duration of the award?
The award is for the duration of the programme. The scholarship cannot be deferred. If a recipient defers their offer, they will forgo the scholarship for that year.
For students studying on a full-time basis, the scholarship will be paid towards their fees for the 2023/24 academic year.
For flexible/part-time students, the total value of the award will be 33% of full-time UK fees for the year in which the student first enrols. The scholarship will be paid as 33% of UK fees due for each academic year until such time as the total value of the scholarship has been disbursed. It is noted that sum paid in the final year will be less than 33% of the fees due to the impact of the annual inflationary increase in the fees. Scholarship recipients will be informed of this.
- What is the eligibility criteria?
Applicants should hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) of a place on the Business and Sustainability MSc at University College London at the time when they apply for the scholarship, which they have accepted or intend to accept. UK and International applicants are eligible to apply for the Scholarship.
- How will applications be assessed?
The award is to be assessed on the basis of merit. The decision on the successful applicant for the award will be based on the statement and the formal UCL application for the programme.
- When will I be notified if my application is successful?
The successful applicant will be informed by email and by formal letter no later than 28th July 2023.
They will be required to accept their offer no later than 11th August 2023. If this does not happen, they will forfeit the scholarship and it will be offered to the next best candidate.
