Victor Nechifor is currently a Research Associate at the UCL Institute for Sustainable Resources where he is focusing on the energy-water-food nexus in the context of large hydropower investments. He has a PhD from UCL in Sustainable Resources and Modelling with a thesis on the global economic impacts of water scarcity using a CGE GTAP-based framework. He also has several years of experience in consulting work on the state-of-the-art of macro-economic modelling related to resource use impacts and the circular economy. He holds a BSc in Telecommunications Engineering and an MSc in Global Energy Management.
