Module Leader BENV0106: Environmental and Social Sustainability Risk in Natural Resource Projects.
Glen Armstrong has worked for over 30 years at the interface between Sustainable Development and Business. He has extensive experience as a senior advisor with businesses large and small, financial institutions of all types, multi-lateral development banks and non-governmental organisations. His sectoral experience spans the extractives and natural resources, energy, infrastructure and agribusiness. He has worked extensively internationally with a particular focus on the sustainability of major projects and investments in developing Countries. His interests lie around the potential for sustainable private sector business practices to protect the environment, support social cohesion and enhance development outcomes, particularly in relation to the SDG’s. He is a Visiting Professor at the Institute for Sustainable Resources, University College, London specialising in environmental and social sustainability risk.
