Paul Ekins interview published on European Commission website

Professor Paul Ekins OBE, Director of UCL ISR and a member of the UN Environment Programme's International Resource Panel, was recently interviewed by the European Commission on the circular economy. 

Professor Ekins began writing about the circular economy in the mid 1980s and again in the early 1990s. But now, due to a great extent to the intervention of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, it's come around again. Read the full interview to hear his views on the potential for the circular economy, what is needed to create a framework for it, and what needs to be done to ensure that resource efficiency contributes to overall environmental sustainability.
