Research summary

My research encompasses low carbon energy and sustainable resource use, considering technological and social solutions with a view to producing policy relevant recommendations.

I have engaged with topics including hydrogen, CCS, renewable innovation policy, electricity networks and sustainable resource use, working with organisations including Ofgem, the Committee on Climate Change and UN Environment's International Resource Panel.

I am also interested in analysing the longer term future trajectories of sustainable transitions, through methods and frameworks including quantitative modelling, futures and scenarios concepts and transitions theories.
