Architecture

Our influential, exciting and innovative architecture school questions what architecture could and should be. Alongside professional training, we consider the wider and deeper significance of the built environment.

Architecture BSc
Designed to offer students a wide and diverse range of experiences to foster an independent, creative, experimental and rigorous approach to design, based on students' own architectural vision.

Architecture MSci
Covering architectural design skills with an understanding of the the contexts in which buildings are produced, this degree combines undergraduate and postgraduate study.

Architectural and Interdisciplinary Studies BSc
This flexibile programme takes an interdisciplinary approach to architectural space, exploring alternative approaches to design and to creative practice. A four-year option of Architectural and Interdisciplinary Studies BSc with a year abroad is also offered.

Engineering and Architectural Design MEng
Designed in close collaboration with industry, this four-year programme combines architecture and engineering of the built environment to help develop future industry leaders.

Urban Planning

The Bartlett School of Planning is a research-led school with over 100 years of history in training practitioners in planning and related disciplines. We link theory, policy and practice in planning and development to drive advances in the field.

Urban Planning and Real Estate BSc
This BSc builds on a base of urban planning and design, and combines it with a focus on property markets, investment decisions and real estate economics.

Urban Planning, Design and Management BSc
This BSc focuses on the complex management of change within the built and natural environment that defines urban planning.

Urban Studies BSc
This flexibile programme is designed for curious students who wish to explore a broader range of topics, and lead to a diverse range of potential career opportunities.

Construction and Project Management

The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction is an international centre dedicated to developing sustainable approaches to project management, real estate and economics.

Construction Project Management MSci
A new, integrated four-year degree programme, with a final year at master's level, based around five thematic areas of construction project management: industry, technology, management, professional practice and integration.

Sustainable Built Environments

The Bartlett School of Environment Energy and Resources is home to specialist institutes for energy, environmental design and engineering, sustainable heritage, and sustainable resources. Together, they hold the expertise to build a more sustainable future.

Sustainable Built Environments, Energy and Resources BSc
This degree is designed to help train students to adapt our built environment to become environmentally sustainable, climate-resilient and resource-efficient. The BSc option is aimed at those who wish to study more broadly and specialise later.

Sustainable Built Environments, Energy and Resources MEng
This course has the same goals as the BSc above, but contains an extra year of study for those who would like to pursue careers as sustainability engineers, gaining chartered engineer (CEng) accreditation.
