Architecture Application Process Insight

Prospective applicants interested in applying to study an Architecture related degree programme can attend this session aimed at demystifying the application process.

Thinking about applying to The Bartlett School of Architecture? Would you like to learn more about the different degree programmes on offer and an insight into how to apply? 

The Bartlett Outreach Team, in collaboration with The Bartlett School of Architecture, will be running an online application process information session on Tuesday 10th October 4-5pm for Year 12-13 students interested in applying to study an Architecture related degree programme.

Join us for this online session where our academics and current UCL students are here to:

  • Demystify the application process
  • Provide a timeline to prepare you on what to expect when applying 
  • Discuss personal statement, portfolio and interview advice
  • Introduce The Bartlett Promise Scholarship
  • Present the Access UCL Contextual Offer scheme you could be eligible for 
  • Answer your questions!

The session will be informative and we invite and encourage you to engage and ask questions via the Q&A function. There will be a dedicated time at the end of the session to have your questions answered. 

Eligibility Criteria 

This unique opportunity is only available to current year 12 and 13 students who meet at least 2 of the following criteria: 

  • Attend a non-selective, low-performing state school 
  • Have parents or carers who did not attend university 
  • Are eligible for free school meals
  • Postcode data showing live in neighbourhoods with high levels of deprivation and low progression rates to higher education
  • Are from groups currently underrepresented at UCL eg forced migrants, young carers, students estranged from parents, care-experienced students and disabled students
  • Are from ethnic groups currently underrepresented at UCL 
  • Is planning to apply to study for an architecture degree in a university like UCL
