The UCL-Energy Social Sciences Group brings together UCL researchers whose work considers the social aspects of energy use and supply.
The UCL-Energy Social Sciences Group brings together UCL researchers whose work considers the social aspects of energy use and supply.
As well as providing a forum for advice, discussion and collaboration, the group also promotes the integration of the social sciences with other disciplines as they are applied to energy.
Our activities include:
- hosting a member-maintained information repository covering things like the ethics application process at UCL, relevant events and training, and recommended reading
- operating an email list so that members can share information on events and publications or ask questions
- organising events and training with internal and external speakers
- facilitating intra- and inter-departmental collaboration at UCL, as well as forging links with other organisations
