Varit Varotsirin is a student in the 2021-22 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Varit questions, Varit investigates, Varit hypothesizes the conventions and systems that underpin different aspects of our lives in our postmodern world. From otherwise 'obvious' clauses in Constitutions to otherwise 'obvious' power structure dynamics in modern, conventional Educational Systems, Varit aspires to further shed light on all that can be better to make a positive difference. As a UK's Chevening Scholar from Thailand selected for his Professional Excellence and Leadership, having had extensive research experience in Political Economics in Canada and hands-on governmental research in Thailand, Varit is excited to apply what he will learn from this innovative programme.
