Tom Wastling

Tom Wastling is a student in the 2020-21 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

Tom currently works as a Designer at FutureGov, working across a diverse range of public sector projects, with a focus on areas of inclusive economy and community-led change.

Tom is experienced in applying design-led approaches to complex challenges. This includes participatory approache, working with people so they are embedded in the process of change that will ultimately affect them. 

A previous Schmidt-MacArthur fellow, Tom is passionate about transitioning to a more regenerative and circular economy. He has published work on how designing for behaviour change can support this transition.
