Valeria Tafoya Martinez
Valeria Tafoya Martinez is a student in the 2025-26 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Valeria is an expert in applied ethical AI and digital policy. She serves on the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on GovTech and was a Fellow at Stanford University's Center for Ethics in Society, where she researched AI ethics in employment. Recognized by WIRED in 2024 as one of Latin America's foremost female leaders in responsible AI, Valeria has a background in consulting for governments in Europe and Latin America. She focuses on shaping the region's approach to ethical innovation and bridging the gap between technology and positive social impact.
