Sophia Torres Cantella
Sophia Torres Cantella is a student in the 2025-26 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Sophia Torres Cantella is a Peruvian economist with experience in education and public policy. She worked at UNICEF Innocenti on the Accessible Digital Textbooks for All initiative, coordinating research, validation, and pilot projects across Latin America and the Caribbean. She previously served as a senior analyst in consultancy firms, advising public sector and multilateral clients. Sophia holds a degree in economics from Universidad del Pacífico and is a candidate for the MPA in Innovation, Public Policy and Public Value at UCL. Her interests include education, digital innovation, and evidence-based policies, with the goal of contributing to multilateral and public sector efforts to strengthen systems in Latin America
