Shinyoung Lee

Shinyoung Lee is a student in the 2025-26 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

Shinyoung has worked at the Korea Development Bank since 2014, primarily as a researcher on development banks, policy financing, and industrial policies, and also as a corporate banker serving SMEs in emerging industries. Shinyoung is particularly interested in industry restructuring and innovation policies that can help reshape the current economy into a more sustainable and mission-driven one. Outside of work, Shinyoung enjoys hiking and bouldering, listening to and playing jazz, and practices yoga daily.
