Nicole Pichardo Almonte is a student in the 2025-26 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Nicole Pichardo is politician and feminist activist from the Dominican Republic. With electoral experience (ran for Congress in 2024 elections) and strong analytical skills, she aims to secure a congressional seat to advance institutional reform and innovation. Addressing gender inequality is central to Nicole’s political vision, driving her advocacy for a National Care System that empowers women, creates jobs, and strengthens household savings for Dominican families. Passionate about reproductive justice, combating gender-based violence, and modernizing public institutions, she aspires to become the Dominican Republic’s first female president. Nicole’s career goal is to restore trust in institutions by leading with empathy, responsibility, global cooperation, and innovative solutions to national challenges.
