Nicola Okero
Nicola Okero is a student in the 2025-26 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Leveraging her legal background with her experience in external relations, Nicola joins the IIPP committed to improving socio-economic outcomes. She has played an instrumental role in generating political will for policy issues, and advancing policy and advocacy efforts on school feeding programs and industrial development. Her most recent experience at Food4Education and the International Finance Corporation saw her leveraging synergistic partnerships and advocacy relationships to spark policy conversations, influence and build allies on priority issues including on universal school feeding policies and programs, industrial competitiveness, and private sector engagement to drive impactful programs, policy reforms, and contribute to sustainable development.
