Ifrah Abdi
Ifrah Abdi is a student in the 2025-26 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Ifrah Abdi is a policy practitioner with over nine years of experience in the public sector, specialising in governance, stabilisation, and peacebuilding. She has served at the Office of the Prime Minister of Somalia as a Technical Adviser, supporting the Towards Peace and Stability Fund (TPSS) and the National Centre for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism. In these roles, she has led the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks for stabilisation projects, coordinated across government institutions and international partners, and driven initiatives to strengthen institutional capacity and enhance service delivery in conflict-affected areas.
Her expertise spans governance reforms, institutional development, peacebuilding, and countering violent extremism. She is particularly interested in addressing her country’s challenges through innovative and evidence-based policies.
