Hazell Ransome
Hazell Ransome is a student in the 2025-26 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Hazell is a Policy Specialist at the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment. She has worked for the global non-profit for over five years, developing specialisms in human rights due diligence legislation and policy engagement in the EU. She is interested in gaining theoretical and practical skills through the IIPP MPA to critique the economic orthodoxy which underpins most ‘sustainable finance’ policy reforms and learning about alternative models for governance and economies. Hazell holds an undergraduate degree in Physical Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and is a keen musician, nature-lover and footballer.
