Eduardo Piñeros
Eduardo Piñeros is a student in the 2025-26 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Throughout his career, Eduardo has been actively involved in public and political affairs, working to build a fairer Colombia with opportunities for all. He believes that politics and public policy are the most effective tools to achieve meaningful social change, and he strives to strike the right balance between the two.
He has served as a policy adviser for both local and national political campaigns, as well as a political adviser to elected officials. In addition, he has supported the strengthening of local institutions in his role as operational and administrative coordinator. Eduardo also has extensive experience managing relations between the private sector and government. He worked as a research assistant on a project examining the effects of lobbying on Colombian democracy.
He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science. His main areas of interest are state capacity, industrial policy, and social policy.
