Daniel Cortes Tamayo
Daniel Cortes Tamayo is a student in the 2025-26 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Daniel is a legal and public policy professional dedicated to advancing governance, justice, and transparency in Colombia. With over a decade of experience in national and local government, he has led reforms in national security, peace, access to justice, and anti-corruption. He holds advanced degrees in law, government, and public policy and is committed to developing inclusive, rights-based policies. Daniel is now pursuing opportunities to strengthen his skills in public sector innovation. He plans to return to Colombia to drive transformative change by balancing security and access to justice, contributing to peace and institutional resilience.
