Entry requirements

To be considered for the MPA programme, a minimum of an upper second-class honours’ bachelor’s degree from a UK university, or an overseas qualification of equivalent standard. Please refer to our programmes page where you will be able to search the entry requirements by the country studied in. If your education was not conducted in an English majority speaking country, you will also be required to take an English language test to evidence adequate English proficiency. The English level for this programme is Advanced. Two years relevant work experience is recommended, though not a requirement to be considered for the programme.

Application deadline

Thank you for your interest in studying with us. The application deadline for this year has now passed. Applications for 2021/22 entry will open in October 2021.

We have a gathered filed system and review all applications after the application deadline. We hope to have decisions made and available by the end of April 2021.

Student fee status

As a student registered at UCL you are required to pay the tuition fee appropriate to your programme and to your status as a UK, an Overseas or a Channel Islands/Isle of Man student. Special rates for EU students may apply if you are beginning a programme no later than July 2021.
