Stuart Watson

Stuart Watson is a student in the 2021-22 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

After 20 years in film production as a Director/ Producer and company founder, Stuart has just graduated from Birkbeck University with a BSc in Economics & Public Policy in order to achieve his new career goals of working in policy, innovation and technology. He hopes to be able to transfer his experience and knowledge of problem-solving in the creative industries whilst learning from his peers on the MPA and the unique team at the IIPP.

From his film career, he is a fully trained film editor (Avid, Final Cut and Adobe Premier) and a camera operator (Arri, Sony, Canon and JVC cameras). His interests include drawing, photography, climbing and he is a bit of a Keynes geek!
