An exciting teaching programme that connects theories of innovation with new thinking about public value creation.
Our teaching programmes bring together international scholars and include bespoke short courses for policy-makers and business leaders, a collaborative Masters programme and a Doctoral programme. Students are encouraged to get involved in global policy engagement at an early stage.
Our Master of Public Administration will be available from September 2019. There is no equivalent post-graduate degree that combines our alternative approach to policy making (with a focus on structural change and innovation) and centred on the dynamic capabilities required in the public sector to tackle the grand challenges of the 21st century. For more information, please see the Master of Public Administration page.
Our PhD programme is now open to applications for our new Doctoral Research Programme in Innovation and Public Policy. The programme aims to develop the next generation of world-leading interdisciplinary scholars in the economics of innovation, innovation policy and its governance. For more information, please see the PhD programme page.
From Spring 2019, we will be running an undergraduate course on Rethinking Capitalism. Available to all 2nd and 3rd year UCL students, it will provide students with a critical perspective on society's grand challenges and introduce new approaches to economics and policy that challenges standard thinking.
