shiho muraki
Shiho Muraki is currently a research fellow of the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). For over five years, she has worked for the MEXT as a fast-stream public official in higher education, innovation, and cultural policy fields.

Her research interest is how to feasibly improve evidence-based policymaking (EBPM) in collaboration with external experts. Her enthusiasm for this theme stems from her experience facilitating the SciREX program, a collaboration program between policymakers and researchers to redesign policy processes, where she coordinated networking opportunities, held workshops, and launched a new collaborative research project scheme.
