Rachel Bentley

Rachel Bentley was a student in the 2019 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

Prior to joining the inaugural MPA cohort, Rachel was a Private Client Tax Director at Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC). She joined PwC in 2002 and worked in Tokyo, London, Honolulu, New York and Cape Town. She holds an undergraduate Law degree from the University of Warwick and a Masters in Law from Nagoya University in Japan where she received a Mombusho scholarship. Her individual MPA research has focussed principally on inequality and poverty alleviation. Rachel has also supported charities in various capacities around the world particularly those tackling homelessness. She is currently a trustee of a British charity that provides free and impartial debt advice and financial literacy to the financially excluded.
