Jawwad Khan

Jawwad Khan is a student in the 2021-22 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

Jawwad has a strong sense of justice and is passionate about improving public policy. Recently graduating from Bristol University with a BSc in Social Policy, he has developed an astute understanding of government institutions and policy processes. He has previously worked on a wide range of grassroots initiatives varying from climate policy and counter-terrorism initiatives.

Jawwad's academic interests include interrogating the influences of the lobbying industry and its harmful impact on the development of counter-terrorism policies which disproportionately impact the civic Muslim community. He hopes to enrich his knowledge on transformative routes in public policy.
