James Grant

James Grant is a student in the 2021-22 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

James Grant
James has worked at Transport for London since 2009 on major policies and projects including Crossrail, the London 2012 Games, disability access and Oxford Street pedestrianisation. He now works on walking, cycling and the Healthy Streets policy area, taking a public health approach to transport planning.
 

Engaging stakeholders across London and the UK, James focuses on plans to grow and diversify active travel, limit car use and transition to a sustainable future.

James has a particular interest in working with local communities so that the benefits of innovation and change are equitably shared and people have a democratic and inclusive role in the future of their communities.
