The Foundation for Argentinean Development (Fundar) has funded a scholarship for the IIPP Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Innovation, Public Policy, which aims to grow and nurture Argentinean talent, equipping the successful candidate with ideas that are firmly grounded in research and evidence, and the ability to put forward these ideas effectively.
The UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) leads the world in rethinking the role of the public sector in co-creating value and driving change. IIPP’s work is informed by our research pillars, focusing on rethinking public value, shaping innovation, transforming institutions, and directing finance.
IIPP’s one-year MPA programme teaches the competencies and critical skills needed for purpose-driven organisations in the public, private and civic sectors. As part of the programme, you will be equipped to help reshape organisations to be mission-led, experimental, and driven by public purpose; and understand the explorative and risk-taking processes that structural change, innovation, and socio-economic transformation require.
Fundar is a non-profit think tank that researches and designs public policies to promote an inclusive, sustainable development agenda for Argentina. They bring an informed voice to public debate, and promote interaction between key players in the public and private sectors and academics from Argentina and around the world.
This fully funded scholarship includes travel expenses and a monthly allowance. It is available to both home and overseas students on a full-time basis. On completion of the MPA programme, the successful graduate student will return to Buenos Aires to work for a minimum of two years with Fundar.
Scholarship applicants will be assessed across four areas:
- Academic and/or professional excellence and background
- Financial need
- A strong and aligned interest in the Foundation for Argentinean Development
