Abby Hauver is a student in the 2021-22 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Abby comes to IIPP with a decade of experience in the American education system. She served three years in Teach for America as a math & science teacher in under-resourced schools in Kansas City. More recently, she was the Director of Medical Simulation at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific-NW, where she specialized in building teams, strategic planning, and developing communication skills in future physicians. Abby is looking forward to further honing her leadership skills as she joins the work of changing the narrative around the public sector and developing innovative solutions to our very real and pressing challenges. She holds a BA in International Relations.
