We offer a wide range of professional development and CPD courses, as well as summer schools and other short courses.
Professional training at The Bartlett is unlike anywhere else. The unrivalled range of disciplines across the faculty and the pool of experts in every built environment field mean we can design programmes that reflect the interdisciplinary nature of practice, and that fit the needs – current and future – of any organisation.
Our client-centric approach makes our teaching more interactive, creative and engaging; we measure its impact by the long-term partnerships it has led to with clients large and small.
The course provides a framework for students to record and analyse this first period of work experience, which if properly logged using the RIBA's Professional Education and Development Record PEDR can count towards the 24-months approved practical training experience required to pass the final qualifying examination necessary to register as an architect in the UK.
The course entitles students to have their quarterly Professional Education Development Record (PEDR) sheets signed by The Bartlett's Stage 2 Professional Studies Advisor (PSA) and to attend tutorials with the aim of preparing them to take the full Part 3 course.
The programmes enable candidates to acquire and demonstrate the knowledge, skill and judgment in professional practice and management that is required of a UK registered architect.
Self-directed, online graphics software training. Enabling professionals to keep up to date with and understand existing and evolving industry standards and alternate freeware packages.
