Digital studies in the built environment
The digital world is one of radical possibility - new technologies and digital advances such as artificial intelligence (AI), building information modelling (BIM), smart cities and big data transform our reality. Technological innovation tools are increasingly used to find answers to the most pressing questions, trends and challenges of the built environment and our ever-evolving society. The digitisation of the built environment brings emerging dilemmas and opportunities. By undertaking one of these programmes at the Bartlett you will address applied and theoretical research themes pertinent to digital technologies, processes and policies aimed at improving economic, environmental, physical and social fields. You will explore key challenges facing our increasingly 'smart' cities and conduct research into data collection and analysis.
