Political Economy of Planning in South Korea was funded by RICS, Korean Research Institute for Human Settlement.

Overview

Dr Jung Won Sonn has been investigating on political economy of urban and regional development in East Asian countries, mainly in South Korea and China. This project investigates issues such as polarized development strategy and land-development-based primitive accumulation of capital in South Korea, economic rationale behind culture-led regenerations in China.
