In urban design, these concepts help us to explore and ultimately find answers to real-life issues and questions. They are not static but, instead, evolve as the design process advances.
Visualisation relates to the generation and manipulation of information through spatial representation and how we then interpret it. In this respect, it enables the sharing of the visual and mental concepts generated by the designer during the design process.
The second phase of the design process consists of developing a conceptual idea or set of ideas based on the early analysis and visualising that in a manner that allows it to be understood and tested by others.
