In its 11th year, the Zero Waste Conference is at the forefront of Canada's circular economy journey. It brings together, thought leaders, innovators and change makers, surfacing some of the best ideas from the past, while presenting pioneering solutions for the future. Following the great success of her recent publication, 'Circular Cities: A Revolution in Urban Sustainability', Dr Jo Williams will be speaking at the conference.

Jo is the Director of the Circular Cities Hub. She is also a Professor in Sustainable Development at the Bartlett School of Planning. She has 24 years of research experience, working closely with industry, government and cities. She also advises International bodies (European Commission, EEA, OECD and UN) on the delivery of circular cities, low carbon cities, circular, sharing and bio economies. Jo is on the steering panel for several large European research projects. She has published widely, including her books Zero Carbon Homes - A Road Map and Circular cities: a revolution in urban sustainability, both published by Earthscan Routledge.
