Bartlett School of Planning student wins opportunity to study in China

Congratulations are due to Tomasz Kocjan, a student on the BSc Urban Planning Design and Management programme, who has won a place on the Study China scheme.

Applications for Study China were extremely competitive this year with over 700 applications for 80 places.  Tomasz was one of five successful students from UCL. Not only was Tomasz successful in his application for the Study China scheme, but he also successfully completed his bachelors degree this summer with a first class clasification. 

The Study China programme runs from Sunday 26th August to Saturday 15th September at East China Normal University in Shanghai.  

The Study China scheme is a unique programme providing students with the opportunity to study in China for a three week period.  It is managed by The University of Manchester and funded by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills.  Study China has as it's objective the development of knowledge and understanding of China and the Chinese language.
