The Economic Value of Design in Commercial Office Developments was funded by the Campaign for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) in 2004.
Overview
This project explored literature and stakeholder views regarding the value added by good design in commercial office development, and the extent to which conventional valuation techniques fail to reflect this value.
The output has been a developed research methodology, and funding is being sought to take the research forward. The research was undertaken in collaboration with the Investment Property Databank (IPD).
