The Bartlett, UCL’s Faculty of the Built Environment is offering MSc, MA or MArch students 20 scholarships, each worth £5,000, to be used as partial fee remittance for study in 2013/14.

Last year, the scholarship scheme attracted over 400 applicants, and enabled 20 individuals who would have found it financially difficult or indeed impossible, to take up places. One of last year’s recipients, Morgan Evan, explained, “This scholarship really allowed me to focus on my studies and get the best out of it without worrying about money all the time. The application process was clear and the staff at The Bartlett very responsive. “

This year, in addition to the 20 Bartlett Masters Scholarships available, we are pleased to offer two Wates Bursaries, a generous gift from the Wates Family Enterprise Trust. As with the Bartlett Masters Scholarships, these awards will amount to a £5,000 fee remission. The eligibility criteria are the same except that a preference will be given to MSc subjects centred on the construction industry, built or rural environments.

The awards will be made on the basis of financial need, and will particularly focus on applicants’ performance at undergraduate level. Scholarships are available to Master’s students studying for an MSc, MA or MArch from the UK, EU or overseas.

You can find further details about the application process in the programmes section of our website.
