We are delighted to announce that Professor Ola Uduku will be opening this year’s Bartlett Summer Show. On Thursday 25 June, Ola will address students, staff and guests at the private view and launch party being held in the newly revitalised UCL Quad, reimagined as part of the bicentennial celebrations.
Ola is a distinguished researcher, architect, and educator whose work has made a significant impact on architectural education, African architecture and the study of the built environment. Throughout her career, she has championed inclusive approaches to design, education and cultural heritage, inspiring generations of students and practitioners.
It is an honour to be invited to be part of the Summer Show. The Bartlett School of Architecture is one of the most distinguished architecture schools in the world. Their students' work is often genre-leading in its creative engagement with themes which boldly test and challenge our reading of today's affairs. In the constant flux of our world, the Bartlett Summer Show affords us time and space to explore these issues at all levels, from local to global. I am looking forward to being part of it.
