I am honored to start this position and deeply thankful to May Cassar for everything I have learned from her. She has established the institute as an intellectual powerhouse that sets the international research agenda in sustainable heritage. She has given the heritage science community a sense of possibility, a vision of what can be achieved if we work in partnership. I am committed to building on these strong foundations to deliver real impact to society and to heritage globally. To achieve this, we will continue to collaborate widely across the heritage sector and beyond.
