We are pleased to announce that the Institute for Global Prosperity’s (IGP) Director Prof Henrietta Moore and Head of Data Dr Nikos Tzivanakis will be part of a Horizon Europe funded project on "Building Economic, Needs-Based, Environmental Evaluation Frameworks for Inclusive Transformation of Social Services in Europe (BENEFITS).
This €2.9m multidisciplinary project seeks to advance our understanding of how social services contribute to economic growth, social welfare, and environmental sustainability.
The team will develop an Appraisal Framework to assess the social, economic, and environmental value-added of social services. The project aims to promote inclusive prosperity through active engagement with citizens, stakeholders, and policymakers in multiple European countries, utilising innovative methods and experimental solutions.
The IGP will collaborate with European partners, including local governments, social service providers, and technology innovators, to improve social services in a variety of geographical and socioeconomic contexts, ensuring that these improvements benefit both urban and rural communities.
?We look forward to sharing insights and outcomes from this exciting project in the coming years as we strive to make social services more impactful and inclusive’.
