The transformation to sustainable built environments requires graduates with skills and acumen to implement and assure the rigorous assessment, development, delivery and operation of better-performing cities, built environments and systems to benefit both society and the environment. No current built environment undergraduate degree similarly combines the disciplines that are of key importance to the sustainability in the built environment: engineering, economics and advanced data analytics. The future is already here.

UCL’s experts in sustainable built environment are international leaders in their field and they will tie their research insights directly into the SBEER degree. There is no better place to study the sustainable built environment than UCL given that London is one of the world’s great cities and its policy makers, companies and citizens are leading on the sustainability transition.
