As interest in IIPP continues to grow, the Mission-Oriented Innovation Network (MOIN) offers a collaborative learning platform where theories meet practice and where policy practitioners can interact with IIPP, its research and practice on the ground. We are therefore delighted to renew our partnership with The Rockefeller Foundation to strengthen MOIN and are excited to open a new MOIN South Africa chapter of this work.

We need new ideas and visionary institutions that can lead on big, multisectoral missions like equitable access to energy and low carbon economies that deliver prosperity for all. Mission-oriented innovation is just such an idea, and the MOIN members are those types of institutions. The Rockefeller Foundation is proud to work with IIPP in building this pathbreaking network, and excited to support South Africa’s continued leadership in mission-oriented innovation.
