In the hands-on seminar, Dr Zimmermann led her audience step by step through the process of building their very first System Dynamics simulation model. Taking the example of tempestuous love relationships, modelling became a fun and engaging activity.
Participants were able to:
- Build their very first quantitative System Dynamics model
- Learn to use Vensim software for very basic quantitative modelling
- Familiarise themselves with the System Dynamics modelling process
- Learn how System Dynamics can be used for policy development.

The seminar was sponsored by Ventana Systems and hosted by the System Dynamics Society. Members from both organisations also provided additional feedback to the 550+ participants.
