  • Livestream - UCL researchers on French shipping decarbonisation panel

The event brings together high-profile politicians, to discuss commitments for the decarbonisation of shipping, and industry, including CMA CGM, ABB, STX France & Engie, to discuss the commercial reality of zero emissions shipping.

Dr Tristan Smith and Isabelle Rojon from UMAS will be involved in the panel discussions. This follows their recent webinar; The low carbon shipping seascape: current debate, challenges and opportunities (presentation webinar recording). The events are timed ahead of the International Maritime Organisation’s Marine Environment Protection Committee’s 72nd session which will aim to finalise the initial GHG strategy, shipping’s climate deal.
